Dr. Vallabh Janardhan is a double board-certified Interventional Neurologist, with
specialized fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology, Vascular Neurology and
Critical Care Medicine. He attended the Madras Medical College (MBBS-India-1998) and the
State University of New York (MD-2006). He completed a Medical Internship and Residency
in Neurology at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Janardhan completed his post-doctoral
Fellowship in Neuroimaging at the Dent Neurologic Institute (Buffalo) as well as a
Fellowship in Vascular/Stroke and Critical Care Neurology at the Massachusetts General
Hospital/Harvard Medical School and his Interventional Neuroradiology Fellowship at
Cornell and Columbia Universities. He served as Medical Director for Stroke and
Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Dr. Janardhan's areas of expertise include interventional Neuroradiology, cutting edge
therapies for stroke treatment, and Neuro-critical care. He has an extensive medical
bibliography including text book chapters and scientific articles in peer reviewed
journals. He is a founding member of the Neurocritical Care Society and the Society
of Vascular and Interventional Neurology and currently serves on their Board of
Directors.
Dr. Janardhan is proud to be on staff at Medical City Dallas Hospital and is Director
of the Texas Stroke Institute and Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program and
Neuro-interventional Services.
