Dr. Brian Gogel is a Board Certified General Surgeon who
specializes in Surgical Oncology with particular expertise in Head &
Neck Cancer Surgery.
Dr. Gogel graduated Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, NY
(BS-Biology/Political Science-1992.) He made the Dean's List of
Distinguished Students (1989-1992) and was elected to Pi Sigma Alpha
(National Political science Honor Society) and Beta Beta Beta
(National Biology Honor Society). Dr. Gogel completed his medical
school education (with Clinical Honors in General Surgery) at the
Albany Medical College in Albany, NY (M.D., 1995). He served a General
Surgery Internship (1996) and Residency in General Surgery, both at
the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas (1997-2000).
He completed a Fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Solid Organ
Transplantation (2000-2001) after which he entered Private Practice
in Dallas with Dr. Robert Steckler.
Dr. Gogel has authored numerous scientific articles which have been
published in several different peer reviewed surgical journals.
