Dr. Victor Gomez is a Fellowship Trained (Pulmonary Medicine)
triple Board Certified Specialist in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary
Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He works in association with Dr.
Alan Shulkin, as the Critical and Intensive Care Unit Specialist, for
many of our patients.
Dr. Gomez completed his medical education at the Instituto de Ciencias
de La Salud (MD, 1992) in Medellin, Columbia. Subsequently he
completed a Residency in Internal Medicine (1998) at Easton Hospital
(Easton, Pennsylvania) and a two year Fellowship program in Pulmonary
Medicine (2000) at the Long Island College Hospital (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
Dr. Gomez then completed a Multidisciplinary Critical Care Medicine
Fellowship (2001) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
(Pittsburgh, PA.) Dr. Gomez entered Private Practice in 2001.
Dr. Gomez is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and
has authored scientific articles which have been published in several
different peer reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Gomez does not have an office at Neurosurgical Consultants.
